Paul was a family man & truely loved his family. He is & will be missed by so many that knew him. Paul had created so many memories for our family from the fish trips in Canada, playing jokes on him, to Vada & Paul opening their beautiful home for family gatherings. I wish I would had shared with Paul that he was a very great husband & friend to my sister Vada & how important that was. The hair cuts were far between but I will miss our conversations Paul. Paul, you are loved & will be missed but never forgotten! I was blessed that my siter chose you to be part of our family! Thank you Paul for being part of my life......

I'am so sorry that Paul has moved on to a better place at such a young age but one thing forsure is he was like a son to me. And he left all of us with years of great memories. When we went to Canada which was twice a year and there is never a time that I would want to change.Paul and Vada always made sure we had a big fish fry at the end of the summer. We always had our Christmas and Easter parties at their Home. Nobody ever wanted to miss those times. They will also be memories in my heart.I hope that Steph and Ted continue to keep that fishing trip going for many more years. Will miss Paul very much and Loved him dearly.

To a great brother who accomplished a lot in your 56 years. You worked and fought hard all your life threw thick and thin, right up to the last few moments on this earth. And like Mom & Dad and all the other relatives who have passed on over the years. You all have created a small branch in the family tree, and yours is in full bloom and will continue on growing for many generations. You left behind a great legacy(foot print) and a lot of good memories for everyone.I'm very proud to be your Brother. Love Dave/ Vada: Thanks for all you have done over the years, you have a heart of gold, and a lot to be proud of.

We wanted to say we are so sorry for your loss for we all lost a great man.He left us with great memories through out our 37 years of knowing Paul.
Paul always was the life of any party and Canada was a wonderful time. Also was a good sport no matter the jokes we pulled on him.Remembering all the cards we played and chicken we ate.It was never a dull moment ever. Many,Many Good times Paul and Skip shared together at all occations. We lost a GREAT GUY but he left us with all those great memories.I will never forget our little talks when his life was getting shorter by the days.I was honored to have helped Paul in his last days of moving on to a better place. No matter how much we write,it would be a book of memories. We will surely miss him with all our hearts and I know he will be with all of loved ones and watching over Vada,Children and all his grandkids.

Thank you grandpa for all the wonderful memories!

We loved to spend nights at your house, that you enjoyed letting us camp and go four-wheeling and snow-mobiling at your house, that you took the time to give us a love for fishing in the heat and in the snow, all the trips around the land on the gator! We got to do many things with you that most grandpa's cannot do with their grandchildren! Love, Lauren and Brandon

A special thanks to you grandpa for putting up a good fight just so you could hold me in your arms:) Those pictures will be cherished forever! Love, Eric

and...Thank you Paul for being a wonderful father-in-law and grand-father to our children. There isn't much more I can say than that when those few words sum it all up! We all love you very much!

If I could write a story, It would be the greatest ever told. One of a kind and loving father, who had a heart of gold. I could write a million pages, but still be unable to say, just how much I love and miss you, every single day. I will remember all you have taught me, I am hurt but wont be sad. Cause you will always send me down the answers, and you will always be my Dad.. Love you Dad

I know I will miss you dad. The last year has been hard but I can say we had a great time going to Menard's putting that pontoon boat in the pond that sat in the field for years that you wanted as a floating dock. We even got that deck built you talked about since you built your house. Not sure who I will call before I buy something (even though you always said I never listened to you anyways why ask). I remember trips to Canada and camping in Mohican state forest. I will miss you greatly. I love you.

Paul was one of my best friends. We shared a lot of similar interests from fishing, swapping fishing stories, going to Fin Feather and Fur or Kames to look at fishing lures, going to the firing range, playing Euchre on-line together on the same team ;) going out and getting wings, or driving around the pond on the Gator and just talking about what was on our minds.
We had a lot of good times together up in Canada. He is one of the main reasons that I even got into fishing. The good times and memories that I have from our trips to Canada are too many for me to summarize here, but are ones that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Canada will never be the same without you Dad.
Paul was not only a great friend; he was also a great Dad. He did not treat me as a son-in-law, but as a son. He taught me so much about so many things. He taught me how to fish, change brakes, plumbing, computer problems, home improvement, etc., there was nothing that he did not know how to fix. One of the best moments in my life was when I asked him for his permission for me to marry his daughter. He was always tough to read, he was never very emotional, and did not like to talk about feelings, so when I asked I was not sure what to expect. He told me that he was glad that I asked and that he was very proud of both of us; he told me that he could not ask for a better guy to marry his daughter. I will never forget that.
We shared a lot of great times together and the memories will live on in those whose lives he had touched. I know someday if I have kids I will teach them the things that their grandfather Paul had taught me. Until we meet again.... I’ll miss you Dad!

Vada I don't know what to say I am here when ever you need me. I remember when I first met you through Paul. Paul told us not to worry that he and his brother and dad would help us move to Barberton. Paul was a fun guy I also remember dancing with him at the Akron Equipment Christmas Parties. Will keep you and your family in prayer.

To my hero,
Words cannot express the feelings that I had before and now of you, all I can think about are the wonderful memories when I look back. You made me who I am today-strong, loving, devoted, independent, good looking genes, bull headed when necessary. You have instilled that we work for what we have, not wait/expect handouts. You were always the life of the parties, just look back at pictures. You and mom always hosting at your house, and you were always laughing, getting icing or cake smashed in your face, putting your arm around someone, four wheeling, snow mobiling, fishing, ice fishing, and boating.

Fishing, you were the man who corrupted my husband, the fish-a-holic. The boat definitely will not be the same without you sitting in the front seat. Canada will be really hard this year without you—only times you missed was 2010 because you were in ICU due to your illness and now. Always know that Bob’s Lake holds 35+ years of your memories (Ted will continue to catch the trees for you, but hopefully not hit the islands).

What will I do on Thursdays? That was our date, chemotherapy. What will John do on Fridays? That was blood transfusion day. Saturdays? Guess I will have to go to Rex’s alone. This will be a real difficult adjustment for our lives weekly, past, present, and future. You got to see a lot in your short life. One important thing you will miss is when Ted and I have children—as much as we tried to have a baby, God knew that you needed me at this time. You dealt with a long year of suffering. Rest in peace, I will see you in Heaven someday, and surely in my dreams before. I love you Dad!
Love your Baby Girl,
