Paula Johnson Obituary
She worked for over 30 years at Swenson's as an accountant and was the manager of her condo association for 20 years. Paula was a loving mother, grandmother, and was a dear friend loved by many.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Kelli Lavender) Johnson; grandchildren, Andrea Jones, Sydney Lavender, and Samantha Lavender; and great-grandson, Izaia Bracy.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Wednesday, December 29, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Nathan Poole officiating. Interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. I know it's been several months but I want to thank everyone for your kind comments. I miss my mom everyday and it's weird not being able to see her, speak to her and tell her how much I love her. Again, thank you everyone, you are all in my prayers. Her loving son.

I know it's several months later but I want to thank everyone for their kind words. I miss my mom every day and it's weird not being able to talk to her. When things got tough for me I always reached out to her and just hearing her voice always made me feel better. Again, thank you for your kind comments.

Rich Your mother was unique..I meant her over 30 years ago at a MK Party..She jumped in and was having a ball..Planned my whole debut as a new Director..Think it was more fun for her than me! You kids played together.(my 2 boys & you) She will leave many good memories..Enjoy them and remember her fondly..She loved Greatly.

In my recent visits with Paula, she always mentioned how happy the time spent with her great-grandson made her. She always had a smile when recounting those visits.
We will certainly miss Ms. Paula. She was one-of-a-kind!
