Peter M. Schultz, 95, passed away on December 20, 2007 at his home in Greer, South Carolina.
A resident of the Akron area for most of his life, he had moved to South Carolina in 1992. He was a retired ornamental iron and steel worker and was a long time member of St. Francis DeSales Parish. Dad was an avid bowler; scoring several games over 200 even at the age of 94. He was also a champion "Greed" player, winning the last three out of four games the night before he died. His memory of the past was keen and his storytelling legendary. He will be dearly missed.
In 1999 he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (nee Reder). His survivors include children, Marjorie (Jim) Slicker, Marilyn (Cliff) Conley, Catherine (Joseph) Conte, John Schultz, Tracy (Jim) Brown, Jim Schultz, Judy May, and Patti (Ken) McMurray; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and eight great- -great-grandchildren. His son, Tom; grandson, Justin; and great grandson, Jimmy all preceded him in death.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis DeSales Church, interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.

To our cousins
The Kellys wish to offer our condolences to your family. Uncle Pete lived a good, long life but he also leaves a great legacy in all his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and now, great-great-grandchildren. He is at home with Aunt Catherine but he will be remembered here on earth.
