Phyllis Calvaruso Obituary
Phyllis Joan Calvaruso, 74, passed away after a long illness, on May 15, 2006.
She was born in Bakerton, Pa., and lived most of her life in Akron.
Preceded in death by her parents, Reynold and Katherine, and brothers, Paul and Gerald Lamont, she is survived by loving husband of 54 years, Dominic; daughters, Cathy (Dennis) Bard and Francesca (Chip) Minks; son, Paul (Patti) Calvaruso; sister, Barbara (Nick) Berlyak; brothers, John (Dorothy) Lamont and Richard (Bea) Lamont; grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, and Noah.
Special thanks to the staff of 7 West at Akron City Hospital for making Mom's last days filled with love.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be recieved from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at HENNESSY Funeral Home (two streets north of St. Thomas Hospital), 552 N. Main St., Akron. (HENNESSY, Family Owned, 330-376-3032.)

We want to express our deepest sympathy to all of you. Due to distance we had only a few occasions to meet Mrs. C but I can remember her smile, sense of humor and her very upbeat personality. God has called her home--Heaven must have needed someone with a little "spunk"
