Joann, Pam and Doug-I'm so sorry to hear about Ray's passing. Whenever Dad and I came into the gate at Barberton, Ray was right there ready to shake my Dad's hand and to tell us what we missed in time trials and talk about Doug's latest racing accomplishments. He was such a proud dad!! The track WILL NOT be the same without him. He will be greatly missed. I pray that our Father will give you peace and comfort during your time of loss. Love to you all.
God Bless,

Beth and family,

The heartache you feel today is a sign of how deeply Ray was loved. As a husband, father, grandfather and friend, he truly was the best. Your loss is intensified because of the closeness you shared, now let the healing come from the memories you hold dear. May God embrace you and guide you through your sorrow, may comfort come from knowing an angel has returned home. I love you!

God saw he was getting tired, and a cure was not to be; so he put His arms around him, and whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, and fade away; Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the Best!

You will be deeply missed Grandpa, but never forgotten. I love you! I know deep down the suffering is over it's just so hard to say goodbye.
