Rick Gardner Obituary
Rick A. Gardner, 57, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, January 6, 2018.
A life resident of the area he was born June 6, 1960 to the late Jerry and Shellia Gardner. He was a member of the Steel Workers of America Union, a 1978 graduate of Kenmore High School and loved coaching Little League baseball in Kenmore.
Preceded in death by his father, Jerry; he leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Chris; mother, Shellia; sons, Richard and Daniel; daughters, Ashley Walker, Kelly and Shellia Gardner; brothers, Jerry (Jill), Harry, John and Ed Gardner; sister, Jean Gardner; and the love of his life his eleven grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses through the Go Fund Me Account. gofundme.com/rick-gardner-funeral-expenses.
