Rita Klingensmith Obituary
Rita (Sipka) Klingensmith, born in Akron on October 4, 1937, passed away suddenly at her home on May 26, 2018.
She graduated from Akron North HS, where she met her husband Bob. Rita worked in the insurance billing industry, and was last employed by Falls Surgical Group. She was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she enjoyed being a member of the choir and the Mothers of Sorrows. She was also involved in the Mothers of Twins Club in the Akron and Indianapolis areas. She was a volunteer at Akron General Medical Center Service League and the Gardens of Western Reserve.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bob; and her parents, Steve and Helen Sipka. She is survived by her son, Mike (Laura) Klingensmith; and daughters, Michele (Darrell) Twente, Georgianne
(Kevin) Green, and Jill (John) Elseg; grandchildren: Alex, Kyle, Bryce, Meredith, Matthew,
Jason, and Julianne; siblings: Stan (Joanne) Sipka, Betty (Dick) Kemp, Arlene (Don) Hayden, and Helene (Tom) Csvany, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. Where a celebration luncheon will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Rita's memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. (McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, FALLS)

Rita was a lovely, friendly lady that we always enjoyed being around. Her smile made you want to smile and her laugh was so genuine that you were taken into the humor right along with her. She will be missed. We are praying for you all during this sudden loss.

I am so very deeply saddened by the news of Rita's passing. She conducted rosary at our facility for many years.
