Robert Beggs Obituary
Robert "Bob" Beggs, MD (79 years old) passed away on November 12th in Prescott, Arizona.
Bob practiced medicine in Akron for 22 years prior to moving to Prescott, and always reflected fondly on the many colleagues and friends that he maintained through his life from the Akron area. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who always had a silly joke and easy smile. He loved practicing medicine, biking, hiking, and his "developing" golf game. He was steadfast in his Christian faith, and ended life without pain and with confidence and peace.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Doug, Jill, and Roger; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Homes in Prescott, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob's name to either: Canyon Bible Church of Prescott (122 N. Cortez Street, Suite 317, Prescott, AZ 86301) or the Coalition for Compassion and Justice in Prescott (CCJ, 531 Madison Ave., Prescott AZ 86301 or http://yavapaiccj.org/donate), where Bob and Nancy have been actively involved serving weekly meals to the homeless.

Dear Beggs Family,
Deepest Sympathy on the loss of Dr. Beggs! He was a great doctor who was the first one to ever get my asthma under good control and I will always be grateful for that! We had a running joke about when the furnace would quit coming on so I could stop wheezing! Maybe June? The truth and irony is often funny, and he always made me smile at my appointments when difficulty breathing could be scary. Thanks to him I didn't die. May the Lord Bless him and Keep him in His Care!
