Robert Clupper Obituary
Robert J. Clupper, Sr., 78, of Randolph, passed away February 27, 2014.
He was born on November 13, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Edward and Mary Jane Clupper. Robert retired from Ironworkers Local 17 after 30 years. He was inducted into the Golden Gloves Hall of Fame in 2010.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Debra Weaver, Robert (Victoria) Clupper, Dianna Van Dyne, Shawna (Keith) Moriarty, Kimberly Clupper, Edward Clupper, Matt (Denise) Clupper, William Villers, Jr.; seventeen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many friends including a special friend and son-in-law, Daniel Weaver.
The family would like to thank Cynthia Walker and Dontell Higgins for all the care given to Robert. Would also like to thank Longmeadow care center for all their care and support.
Visitation will be Monday, March 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Robert M. Burner officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. To leave a special message for the family online, visit www.NewcomerAkron.com.

It's been almost four years now since you've been gone and for some reason, I still wait for you to call me on the phone. You sure had a knack for tracking me down, you were better than the FBI. I miss you. I miss your ornery laugh. I just plain miss you. You were the BEST father-in-law and I just don't think I conveyed that to you! All of your "EX" daughter-in-laws loved you dearly and jockeyed for the position of who was your favorite... knowing full well you didn't have a favorite, you loved us all. Miss you and thinking of you today <3

Jacqueline I am so sorry for the loss of Bobby. I didn't know until last night and I wanted to pay my condolences to you. We have been through alot together and as I look at your pictures lately I am reminded of the "good ole days", Keep those memories in your heart and they will keep you happy. Remember the last time I saw you and you telling me how much pain Bobby was in well now he is in a much better place pain free! I love you and I am here for you!
