Robert Faris

1983 - 2021

October 28, 1983 - June 3, 2021 Rob left this world in the presence of his loved ones, escorted into the next by his father, Brian Faris and grandfather, Edward Long Sr. He was brilliant, articulate, well read, and brutally honest. His struggle is now over. He leaves to continue to love him, his mother Judy Faris; sister, Jenn (Adam) McGhee; nephew, Eli McGhee; aunt, Beth Manwaring; uncle, Ed Long Jr.; cousins, Caitlyn and Lindsay Manwaring; grandmother, Leora Long. And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance. Cremation will take place and per Rob's request there will be no service. To pay respect to Rob his wish would be - be kind to animals, all life has a presence.
