Pat & Family,
I wanted you to know how deeply saddened I am over this terrible tragedy. Robbie was a good man and father. His interaction with his children and the patience and love he showed with Tyler was a beautiful thing to witness. He will be missed very much by all those who loved him.

Robbie,
This all seems like a bad dream. You were my first grandchild and always held a special place in my heart. You were the most beautiful little boy. My favorite memory of you is when you were around 2 years old and when you would get mad you would tell whoever irritated you to “bite wall”.
As you grew into an adult we developed a new relationship and I will miss your calls & visits. As I think of you today it saddens me that your children lost such a loving father. I could see the pride, joy and love in your eyes whenever you were with your kids. I pray that you knew how special you were to so many people and how much you were loved. I will love you forever.

LOVING TRIBUTE TO MY SON AND BEST FRIEND
To my son Robert and best friend of mine, first I would like to say that when I first met your Mom and you for the first time I was scared by a little boy running a muck. After some time being with the two of you I saw a family for the first time. It took me a while to accept my future with the two of you but I did. I fell in love with both of you and wanted to be a father and a husband to my best abilty. Only God knows if I did the right things for you as my son. We did not always see eye to eye but I always loved you and you made me very proud to be your father. You gave me four beautiful grand children and for that I will always praise you. I swear to you that I will always take care of them to the best of my abilty. I have always loved you and Shantel equally and always will. I thank your Mom for giving me 30 years with her and 31 years of being a Father to a Great Son. Robbie I have always loved you and you will be in my heart until we meet again.
Love You Dad

Robbie, it still doesn’t seem real that you are gone. I can’t stop thinking about the days you would come over to my house and we would sit in the garage and talk about cars. I wish we had spent more time together and I had been a bigger part of your life. It has always been very hard for me to express emotions but I want you to know that I always loved you Robbie and I will miss you very much.

My son played baseball this summer with Rob as one of his coaches. I saw how Rob cared for his children, All children for that matter. My friend and I gave Trenton the nickname "Super Star" and as I seen the way Rob worked with all his children helping them learn the sport of baseball I knew with his guidence that Trenton would become a "Super Star" along with his brothers and sister. Harriet I know you don't know me by name but you and the kids have been on my mind since I seen this in the paper. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear Pat and Gary,
Children no matter what age,are our lives. When they are taken away from us our hearts are broken forever. Robbie, was a great friend to Todd and we can still see them playing in the front yard, and riding their bikes down Elko and Honadle. Take solice in the fact that they have been reunited and now they are watching over us. May God keep you and Robbie's family in his care. Help you to get through this terrible time, and watch over you as you heal.
