Robert Mathis Obituary

Robert Lee Mathis

Robert Lee Mathis, 69, passed away Feb. 15, 2003, at Hospice Care Center.

Born in Commerce, Ga., he had lived in this community for 20 years. He had been em ployed as a construction worker.

He is sur vived by daughters, Linnette Mathis of Cedar Town, Ga.; sisters, Lillie Taylor and Millie Bol ton; devoted niece, Tonya Taylor, all of Akron; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held TODAY, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at 1 p.m., at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., with Rev. Samuel Gilstrap officiating. Friends may call at the chapel Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 937 Baughman Ave. 44320.
