Robert Allen Miller

1968 - 2021

Robert Allen Miller, age 52 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Robby always had a positive attitude even though he was plagued with many health issues throughout most of his life. He was born on February 28, 1968, grew up in North Canton, Ohio and graduated from Hoover High School in 1986. He worked his way through the ranks of Scouting and earned his Eagle Scout. He had a career as a long-distance truck driver which enabled him to enjoy the wonders and beauty of our Country. He made life long friends wherever he traveled and settled down in Birmingham, Alabama until returning to Ohio to be near his family. He was a faithful follower of Christ and was an active member of East Market Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Dale "Corky" Miller; and step-father, Raymond Sanginiti. He is survived his daughter, Dawn (Evan) Imdorf; his mother, Linda (Miller) Sanginiti; his sister, Keri (Tim) Duffey; nephews, Greg Betz and Andrew (Heidi) Betz, and niece, Molly Betz. Robby was known for his witty sense of humor and will always be remembered for his devotion to his faith and family. In his own words he stated, "Life is defined by having the courage to risk all you have to chase a dream that nobody else can see but you". Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 29 from 3 - 5 with the funeral service immediately following at East Market Church, 2084 East Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44312.
