Robert Pfahl Obituary
STOW -- Robert Frank Pfahl, 66, passed away on December 16, 2013.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from the Akron Police Department after over 25 years of service. He retired as the lieutenant and commander of the Detectives Unit. Bob was also an avid golfer who won several medals and accolades throughout the years at various golfing competitions. When not on the course, he enjoyed spending time with his family, taking trips with his wife Debra, and working in his yard or tinkering around in his garage.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father. He leaves behind, his wife, Debra; Michael (son); daughters, Denise Timmons (Tom) and Kimberly Gresham (Trent); granddaughter, Paige Timmons; grandsons, David and Raymond Gresham; as well as the members of the Pfahl and Scheatzle families.
There will be no services at this time. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631)

Bob and I went through the academy and worked the midnight shift together. We stayed friends throughout our time on the department. My deepest condolences to his family.

My condolences to Bob's family. Bob and I were close friends while classmates at Buchtel HS back in the mid 1960's. Bob was a great guy with a great sense of humor. RIP brother..

Deepest sympathy to the Pfahl family. Knew Robbie when we worked @ Phillips 66 in the 60's and were roomates for a time. Hadn't seen him in about 25 yrs. Was a lot of fun to be around.

Bob and I became police officers and friends back in 1970. His great sense of humor and availability to lend an ear distinguished him from others, in my mind. God will welcome his friendly demeanor. RIP, Bobber.
