Robert Wemmer Obituary
He was born November 29, 1928 in Chapel Hill, Ohio.
He is survived by wife, Elizabeth, seven children, 28 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a stepmother, and a sister.
Memorial service will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Rd., Wadsworth. Burial at Western Star Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wadsworth Eagles #2117. (COX, WADSWORTH, 330-335-3311)

I was adopted into the wemmer clan at a very early age. Grandpa was always happy to see me and he even knew my voice on the phone with out me telling him who it was. I will always remeber family reunions cuz it was always every ones birthday!! I loved grandpa so much and just because i wasn't a blood wemmer he treated me as if I was. I will miss him greatly and i know he made a mark in my heart and my life. Grandpa always had a smile and a hug for me and a plate of pancakes and bacon in the morning. Grandpa I love you and will miss you dearly. rest in peace in the golden heavenly world and watch over us and protect us. I love you grandpa

My grandpa was an amazing man. He will be dearly missed, even though it's sad to think about, it's a pretty good thing he's gone. Now he up in heaven happy. He's probably out on his own lake fishing. I think of it like this. We are the fish, her is the fisherman. When we are thinking of wonderful memories of bob wemmer and our lifes with him it's most always good memories he has caught at this time and is bringing us close to him. It may bring tears to our eyes, but we know he doesn't want tears. He wants all of those beautiful smiles. When he gets those smiles. He throws us back. Every now and then it happens gain. I love and miss my grandpa very much. It brings me down sometimes then I think of that strategy and I get that big ole smile he loved so much.(: he will be dearly missed.
