Ronald Harris Obituary

Ronald D. Harris, 69, of Akron, passed away Friday, May 25.

He was born on July 12, 1942 to the late Edward and Grace Harris. Ronald was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He loved going to flea markets (negotiating a good deal), movies, and attending church regularly.

Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Harris. He is survived by his children, Regina Harris of Akron, Ohio, Troy Harris of Aurora, Colo., and David (Jacquie) Harris of Tampa, Fla., Marie Harris; his grandchildren, Brock, Tyler, Brett, Brooke, and Blake; and his special friend, Janet Burchett.

The family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. TODAY, Thursday, May 31 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7605 Pleasant Home Rd., Sterling, Ohio 44276, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor Stephen Olsen officiating. Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd., Suite 445, Independence, OH 44131 or Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, P.O. Box 426 Smithville, OH 44677.
