Ronnie Vinson Obituary

Ronnie Vinson

Ronnie Vinson, formerly of Akron, made his final transition in Lake Elsinore, Calif., on May 28, 2003, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Ronnie was a graduate of Akron South High School, and he served in the U.S. Air Force.

Ronnie was preceded in death by parents, Willie Fred and Gladys. He is survived by children, Gary, Shawn, and Rhonda, of Akron, Brandon and Brianna of California; sisters, Lorraine Woods of Akron, Brenda (Jerome) Smith of Georgia; brothers, Larry (Charlotte), Gerald (Eliza beth), Matthew, Wayne, and Darryl, all of Akron; five grandchildren; devoted aunt, Agnes Garner; uncle Jerome (Hazel) Vinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Akron and California.

Funeral services and burial will take place in California.

A memorial service will be held at the Tower of Prayer COGIC, 1334 Diagonal Rd., on Thursday, June 5, 2003, at 7 p.m. Condo lences may be sent to 463 Fernwood Dr., Akron 44320.
