Rosemary Brown Obituary
Born on April 6, 1960, she was a life-long resident of Akron. Rose graduated from Central Hower High in 1979 and went on to earn her Medical Assistant Certificate. Rose worked many jobs, but loved any that involved children. She was the sweetest person in the world. Rose gave her life to the Lord and became a Sunday school teacher, Youth group sponsor and Deaconess for the Manchester Christian Church where she loved, served and exemplified Christ's heart. She loved all people and all animals, especially her dogs. She always brought out the best in everyone. Her heart touched so many with her love, sweetness, kindness and gentle understanding. We miss you and will forever love you. No words can express our loss and no words can describe her new life in Heaven.
Honey, you made my life so complete and made me a better person. I wanted your suffering to end, but our love never will. I can't imagine life without you, but I pray for when we meet again in Heaven. Me and the boys celebrate your fresh new life with the Lord, but we feel so empty without you. We long to see you again in Heaven. I will miss your laughter, your gentle touch, your beautiful face and your pure heart.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Lou Koeberle as well as her sister, Carol Koeberle and brother, John Koeberle. Rose is survived by her husband, Jack (John) Brown and her two sons, Jacob and Joshua Brown. Also by her sister, Suzie (Jeff) Henderson and brother, Leo Koeberle, as well as her mother-in-law, Annetta Brown and father-in-law, John Brown Sr., along with so many loving relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MANCHESTER CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 930 W. Nimisila Road. The memorial service will start at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Manchester Christian Church with Kelly Gowen officiating. Interment at Manchester Cemetery.
Any donations may be made out to the Rose Brown Memorial fund, c/o Manchester Christian Church, 930 W. Nimisila Rd., Akron, Ohio, 44319 and you are invited to attend worship service this Sunday at 10 a.m. to meet her church family where Rose loved, served and worshipped the Lord, Jesus Christ.

My name was Debbie Charles, now Laird. I grew up with Rosemary, Suzy and Leo I lived a few houses up the road from them. I'm sorry to here about this sad news. We were good friends growing up. I have good memories of Rose and her family.

Dear Jack,
Her memory is still very much alive with us at Chapel Hill. We still talk about sweet Rose and how much we enjoyed having her with us. She had such a wonderful, kind spirit, the way she opened up to visitors and hugged everyone hello and goodbye. We still share stories of Rose and how her face would light up whenever we reminisced about familiar names and places. We too miss Rose and will never forget the unconditional love she shared with us as well. We thank you for allowing Rose to be a part of our Chapel Hill family. She is greatly missed, but we are glad to know she is also at peace.

To my Rose,
Honey, it's been over 3 months since you have walked through the door of death and entered Heaven. I'm writing this to you now as I don't think anyone will view this guestbook much as time has passed ...
I want you to know that I never would have been near the person I am without you ... in fact, you are such a huge part of me, I feel like most of me died with you. I want to be with you, I really do. I know someday I will, but for now, I know you want me to take care of the boys.
I see you all the time in my life, I hear your voice, your smile. I sleep with your nightgown beside me ... and I stay on my side of the bed. I never would have dreamed it would have hurt so much to live without you. I tried to prepare for what I knew would someday happen to you, but I couldn't prepare. There is no answer to my problem except to wait.
God allowed this for a reason which is beyond my understanding. But I trust His wisdom. I feel like my life is over, and I wish it were. You were everything good in my character! It scares me to think that in 20 years the pain might subside. As long as I hurt, I feel like you are closer to me. I'd rather live with the pain and have you closer.
Honey, I love you so much!! I wish I knew what to do. I've been praying a lot. I try to be strong for the boys and not let anyone know the hurt, but I just am not complete without you. I know it isn't "goodbye", simply "I'll see you soon", but it feels so hard. I yearn to see your smile and feel your touch again, but I can't bring myself to watch our family videos yet ... maybe someday, but not yet.
Please ask God to smack me if my thoughts are on the edge. I don't have you to give me your gentle wisdom anymore. I hate this life without you, but I will try to endure.
You are the most beautiful woman ever to have lived and I am the luckiest man alive to have been married to you! Thank you for all your love, sweetness and kindness. You taught me so much, mostly how to love without conditions.

Dear Jack, Jacob and Josh,
Rose came and stayed at my house for a couple of weeks decades ago. She thought she might find a life here in upstate New York. But what she found instead was that her life was with you, Jack. She eventually found that life was knowing the Lord, and that life could be made even fuller by adding two little boys. I am glad she found all of these in her life for they all brought her happiness. I am glad God let her be a part of my life too. She had the compassion, the kindness and gentleness of an angel in our midst. Rosie was a special young lady. I am proud to call her my cousin and friend. God bless you Jack, Jacob and Josh with comfort for the sad days, and beautiful memories to sustain you.

Dear jack, jake, and josh, I had the pleasure of working with rose at the high school for many summers. We had so much fun and many good laughs. She was surely a pure at heart sweet angel with lots of good infomation to be heard. I will truley miss her presence here on earth. I will see you in heaven someday rose. It is so hard to accept the passing of such a wonderful and young person. Rose was known to me by a family member and when my first wife was seriously ill and couldn't do things for herself. A young Rose and Shelia gave their time and love to wrap the presents that Barb had bought for everyone for Christmas because she was missing fingers and couldn't wrap them herself. Rose lit up the room she was in and we will all miss her. I'm sure heaven considers it's self blessed to receive her.

My heart truly rejoices that Rose is finally walking the streets of Gold with our Heavenly Father. I see her smiling and welcoming all that come through the gates. My heart is also sad to know that our beautiful Rose will no longer be greeting us! She was such a beautiful person inside and out we were so blessed to have her! Rose will be greatly missed by the families of all MSU residents. Our family was saddened to here about her passing. Rose was the 'happy to see everyone' greeter on ground floor. Her eyes told you how much she enjoyed people. I've missed her recently meeting me as I walk through the door. I'm sure God has Rose as a greeter in Heaven. I know that words are inadequate at a time like this but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss of Rose. The loss of a spouse is a tragic event and I can only imagine the pain and suffering you are experiencing.
It is times like this that our faith is put to the test. We know that we must accept her passing and give thanks for the wonderful life she lived. We will always have the memory of her to hold in our hearts; I myself I will always remember her great laugh, and the way she always could make anyone smile, it was her pure heart and Christian love she had for all.
