Ruby Ash Obituary
Ruby I. Ash, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 6, 2002, at South Point Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was a lifetime resi dent of this community. She had been employed at Cintas Laundry. She was saved as a young girl.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Laura McCall; husband, Green Ash Jr.; sisters, Luvenia McCall, Ruth Robinson, Jean McCall; and brother, Theodore McCall, she is survived by sons, Green (Sharon) Ash III of Decatur, Ga., Antario Ash of Akron; daughters, Leatrice (An thony) Fryer of Maple Heights, Ohio, Vanessa (Richard) Porter; brother, Arthur (Delores) McCall Jr.; sister, Beatrice Jones, all of Akron; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sat urday, Nov. 9, 2002, at 12 noon, at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., with Rev. Emmett A. Harrison Sr. officiating. Friends may call at the chapel Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Inter ment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form at 78 Forrest St. Condolences may be sent to 78 Forrest St., Akron 44306, and to 15912 Grant St., Maple Heights, Ohio 44137.
