Ruby Carr Obituary
Ruby "Joyce" Carr, 77, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016.
Joyce was born on October 4, 1938 to Burl and Ruth Hatfield in Freeburn, Ky. She enjoyed flower gardening and painting. Joyce was a former pastor of Harvest Times Ministries in Kenmore for 20 years. She was very loving and caring, and especially loved her children and grandchildren.
Joyce leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Bill; son, Billy Carr; daughter, Diana (David) Beatty; grandchildren, Rhiana Hiller (Charles Hood), Billie Rae Carr (Josh Robinson), Brandon Carr; great-grandchildren, Savanah, Josh, Ava, Cora; brother, Carl Hatfield; and sisters, Sandy (Dick) Carr, Pat (Tim) Dean, Kay Hardesty-Jordon, and Jenny (Bill) Osborne.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m., where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Kay Hardesty-Jordon and family officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Cancer Association in memory of Ruby, their website is www.lung.org/donate.

Grandma I sit here and think about you so much. I wish I could just call you and you pray with me with whatever situation I go through. You never judged anyone and has always been there for all of us. I miss you so much and I feel like I really need you right now. But I know if I talk to you, your listening. I love you grandma so much. Rhiana and I will always be thankful for all that you did for us and our children. Keep looking over us. Your doing a great job making sure we are okay :)

Early in our ministry Sister Joyce was such an encouragement. Through the years, we always knew that we had her love and support. Tammy and I have lost a dear friend. RIP Sister Joyce
