Today we say goodbye to the strongest, kindest, family first man, our dad, Rickey Cooley. Born in Akron to Floyd and Hilda (Hinkle) Cooley, he was a lifelong area resident. Rickey was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Vietnam. Rickey enjoyed playing penny slots, drag racing, watching football and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart/wife, Donna Jean (Stonestreet) Cooley; daughter, Stacie Lyn Cooley; brother, Denny Cooley. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Lori (Otto) Agoston, Tracy Watson; grandchildren, Sara Agoston, Cassandra (Michael) Hill; brothers, Jimmy Cooley; extended family, Peggy Hoover, Donald Stonestreet, Alex Thompson; many other family and friends.
The family will have a private celebration of Rickey's life.
