WILLOUGHBY -- Ruth N. Sullivan (nee Johnston), 82 years, died Feb. 15, 2008 at Lakewest Hospital, Willoughby, Ohio.
Born May 28, 1925 in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone, she was a Lake County resident for 46 years, living in Eastlake and Willoughby (last 45 years). She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church, Willoughby, Ohio, Ladies Court of Mary (former treasurer), member of Willoughby Browning Senior Center, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Sullivan (1988); loving mother of James R. (Josie) Sullivan of Miami, Fla., William T. (Susan) Sullivan of Ravenna, Brian P. (Cathy) Sullivan of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio, Barry K. (Cindy) Sullivan of Mentor, and Bradley D. Sullivan of Willoughby; grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of eight; daughter of the late William T. and Natalia (nee Brouwer) Johnston; sister of Norma (Owen) Rose of Cayucos, Calif., William Johnston and Shirley Schiesser (both deceased); sister-in-law of Sr. Helen Jean Sullivan, R.S.M., of Erie, Pa.
Family will receive friends at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, north of Rt. 2), Mentor, Ohio, Sunday, 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday, 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, Ohio, Fr. Louis Pizmoht officiating. Burial at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio. Rosary service Sunday, 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bill, thanks for introducing her to me Sunday, Dec. 2. At my smart aleck introduction, she snapped back,"Well, you have to take the bad (Bill) with the good." Our prayers for the repose of her soul.
