Samantha Guthrie Obituary
Samantha Ann Marie Guthrie, age 18, was taken far too early on November 4, 2018.
She was born May 15, 2000 in Akron, Ohio to John Guthrie and Joni Jackson. She attended Ellet High School. She was a member of the wrestling team and participated in a variety of sports, hobbies and other interests throughout her middle and high school years, including the Romeo and Juliet play and chess tournaments with Johnathon. She loved people and treated everyone with respect, courtesy, and compassion. She always helped those in need and would give anything and never expect anything in return.
She was and will always be loved by so many people including her brothers, Johnathon and Jason, and her little sister Lilly; grandmothers, Annette, Kathy, and Donna; grandfathers, Mel and Sam; aunts, Jackie, Angela, Dawn and Carol; uncles, Michael, Brandon, Gary and Keith; cousins, Katrynalyn, Gabriella, Katlyn, Michael, Jaxon and Amelia and many more family and friends, too many to list, but they all had one thing in common...we love you Samantha, Sam, sis, bacon, tata.
A private service will be held for family and close friends. Samantha's family would like to invite friends to join them as they Celebrate her Life Saturday, December 1st from 2 to 6:00 p.m. at the Italian Center, 134 E. Tallmadge Avenue in Akron. Condolences can be shared with the family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com.

The loss of Samantha has us all heartbroken. She was my best friend & she was basically my sister. Together 24/7 all throughout high school, staying at each other homes 4 or 5 days out of the week.❤ My whole family loves Samantha like she is theirs. She used to come into my house like it was here & say I'm home. I'm so glad God gave me the opportunity to meet such a wonderful and smart woman. Forever in my heart, until I see her again

rest easy angel ❤ i love you so much samantha, you will be missed so much ! i will never forget when i came over and we had steak and i didn't know how to cut it myself so you had to teach me and we thought it was the funniest thing this shouldn't have happened to you, you were taken from us way to early ! i'm sorry i wasn't able to come to your memorial just know i love you and you will always hold a special place in my heart

I just wanted to say I am so very sorry for your loss I have kids of my own that are about the same age and I couldn't imagine going through what your family is going through I didn't know Samantha but we do have mutual friends and she talks very highly of Samantha I wish I would have gotten to meet her I will keep your family in my prayers and pray that Samantha gets justice and again I am truly sorry and my heart breaks for your family

I remember Sam as a sweet little girl of 3/4 y/o. There are no words or deeds that can take away your pain, but please know that I love you Joni, Annette, Michael and all of your family very much.
