Sandra McMahon Obituary
Sandra McMahon, 72, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Akron General Medical Center.
Sandra was born January 6, 1946 to Jack and Jennie (Kirek) Post in Akron, lived in New York and returned to Akron in 2009 so she could be closer to her grandchildren and family. She had a special place in her heart for all animals and was an excellent cook to all the people and pets throughout her life.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, William McMahon and mother, Jennie. She is survived by her son, Bradley Gross; grandchildren, Ethan Gross and Amber Tidwell; father, Jack Post; siblings, Steven (Pam) Post and Ginger (Dave) Heuker, and countless Loyal Friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44301 where friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Summit County Humane Society, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.

Sandi was a beautiful soul and a wonderful friend to me. We shared a wild week in New York as seniors in high school. I will miss knowing that someone with shared memories has gone. Miss you. RIP.
