DAVENPORT, IOWA -- Scott D. Blum, 29, passed away unexpectedly on September 19, in Davenport, Iowa.

Born to Mark and Marcia Blum on March 9, 1981 in Barberton, Ohio, Scott had been an Iowa resident for the last seven years.

He is survived by his mother, Marcia of Wooster and father, Mark of Pennsylvania; sisters, Angela (John) Finlay of New Jersey and Lisa Blum of Colorado; niece, Katelyn Finlay. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Loretta Cioffe, as well as many other extended family members. The beauty of friendship

Per Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 12 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow. The Committal of ashes will take place at Stow Cemetery immediately following the service.
