Terry Lee Wilmot

Terry Lee Wilmot, 74, of Munroe Falls, passed away on April 28, 2021. He was born in Akron on September 7, 1946 to the late Virgil and Elma Wilmot. Terry was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having served in Vietnam. He retired from Local 18 Operating Engineers. In his free time, Terry enjoyed being outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. His green thumb was evident in the plants and flowers that he grew. Terry's greatest love was his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by seven siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Judy Wilmot; children, Michael (Sunny) Wilmot, Mark (Kristina) Wilmot, Josh (Carrie) Wilmot, and Jen (Chris) Abercrombie; brothers, Benny Wilmot, Virgil Wilmot, and Dave (Carol) Garver; grandchildren, Kelsey, Hailey, E'owyn, Logan, Coen, Gianna, Rici, Kylee, Emily, George, Rocco, Lily, Wyatt, and Joey; sister-in-law, Diane Marinella; many nieces, nephews, and friends. A private service will be held for Terry's family. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate his life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
