Thomas Springfield Obituary
He was a lifetime member of the community. He was an active member of God's Will Apostolic Church where he served as a minister.
Preceded in death by son, Thomas Edward Davenport; mother, Delores Springfield and brother, Henry Lee Springfield. He leaves to cherish his memory, father, Henry Springfield of Akron; children, Fred Lamont Davenport, Thomas Edward Sams, Doniere Love, Zipporah Springfield; niece, Tonya Denise Davenport; foster brother, David Pottle; uncles, A. Scooby McNeil, Melvin McDowell; aunt, Mary Ann Palmer.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday May 5, 2010 1 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Pastor Sallie Thompson eulogizing.

I am so sad to hear of Tommy's passing. He was a good neighbor and friend for many years. I loved and cared about him very much. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Henry, we are so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. We will miss seeing him driving that little green car, taking strolls along the street moving slowly but surely and sitting on your front yard in his favorite chair under the tree. We know their is no greater bond than that of a parent and child, but please remember as long as you keep Tommy's memory in your heart he will never truly be gone. We love you and we are praying for you and your entire family.
