Thomas Troyer Obituary
STOW Thomas F. Troyer, 94, died Feb. 7, 2004.
Born in Walnut Creek, Ohio, he was a Stow/Kent resident over 60 years, and a member of the United Church of Christ of Kent. Mr. Troyer had many careers, including school teach er, engineer, and realtor. A former member of the Stow Historical Society, he was also a founding member of the Stow Chamber of Commerce.
Preceded in death by Doro thea, his wife of 70 years, in October 2003, he is survived by his son, Thomas L. (Virginia) Troyer of Stow; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Nellie Hecker of Berlin, Ohio; and brother, Loris Troyer of Kent.
Rev. Paul Ashby will conduct a memorial service Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m., at the United Church of Christ of Kent, 1427 Horning Rd. Private burial in Walnut Creek, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631.)
