William Blatt Obituary
TALLMADGE -- William J. Blatt, 52, passed away July 19, 2007 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Akron, Bill lived all his life in Tallmadge. He was the owner of W.J. Blatt Welding since 1980 and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. Bill loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially his farm in West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Blatt
He is survived by his wife, Tami; daughter, Lisa (Chris) Lantz of Stow; sons, Bill Blatt, Jr. and Joe Blatt both of Tallmadge; parents, Lawrence and Irene Blatt of Tallmadge; brothers, Larry (Debra) Blatt of Hong Kong, Tom Blatt, Mike (Jan) Blatt, Rick Blatt, Kevin (Mary Ann) Blatt, and Steven (Kim) Blatt all of Tallmadge; brothers-in-law, Jim (Margo) Richmond, Tom (Debbie) Richmond, all of Akron, Tim (Jenny) Richmond and John Richmond all of Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Father John Hengle officiating. Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. (TODAY) Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle). Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
