Dad,
Today is the first day of April; nearly a year since you left us. I have thought often of you and have hoped that I might stumble upon verses of profound substance. I have found no such verse to describe the magnitude of my sorrow. I have many questions. I will always grieve the time lost. I am eternally thankful for the time spent. I love you deeply. I miss you deeply.
