AKRON -- William C. Keegan, 81, died July 21, 2006, at Bath Manor Special Care Centre.
He was born April 19, 1925, in Akron to Harry and Mary (Koch) Keegan. Currently of Akron, he was formerly of Doylestown. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was also a member of the Doylestown American Legion Post 407. He retired from Metro Transit, and enjoyed camping and mopeds.
He was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Keegan, and is survived by brother, Richard (Beatrice DeeDee) Keegan of New Port Richey, Fla.; stepdaughters, Katrina Billot of Texas and Kimberly Ulrich of Florida; and cousin, Ray Stadelman of Cuyahoga Falls.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, with Fr. David McCarthy officiating. Burial at Chestnut Hill Cemetery; military honors will be conducted. Friends may call on Monday morning at the funeral home, from 10 until the time of service. (Zak-Monbarren, 330-658-2211.)
