William Labbe Obituary
A lifetime area resident, he retired from Bridgestone Firestone after 35 years of service and worked for Costigan Office Supply for 15 years. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he played softball in the Firestone League for 30 years, various City League teams and the Akron Silver League for 15 years. Bill enjoyed gardening, bird watching and music.
Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Alice; brothers, Jack and Larry and sister, Patricia; he is survived by wife of 21 years, Patricia; daughter Colleen (Steve) Garday of Arizona; son, Craig (Amy) of Arizona; grandchildren, Alesha, Adam, Alex and Austin; great-grandsons, Cannon and Brecken; sister, Jean Wendall of California; brother, Tom (Bonnie) of Cuyahoga Falls; many nieces and nephews.
Hospice of Summa Chaplain Michael Shaub will conduct service Monday 4 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 525 East Market Street, P.O. Box 2090, Akron, 44398-9976.

To the family of Bill,
Sorry for your loss. I lost touch with the Labbe side of the family but I remember my cousin Bill and have found memories of him & his brothers & his parents my Aunt & Uncle.
