I was and still am one of Zach's friends and just to know him was an honor. Zach was courageous and very posotive about everything and everyone. Even when someone put him down, he was always in high spirits. Zach will be missed but never forgotten.

Dear Melanie and Mike,
I just found out about Zachery's death. I am still reeling in disbelief as I am sure you are too. I had so much hope, but I guess none of us knows God's plan. Zach had been through so much and was such a trooper. He was truly an angel sent from heaven. And the two of you were always by his side, giving him lots of love and advocating for him. I know the time ahead will not be easy. My family's thoughts and prayers go out to you.

hello,
I am one of the freshman in the SR. High at Maranatha Bible Church. Zach was such a blessing to me; every sunday morning, no matter what mood i was in, he always came over and gave me a hug and brightened my day. He changed my life.

I think I am still in shock over the loss of Zach. I will foundly remember our after school "friends group" at Stanton, and listening to the Beach Boys! There are no words to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. He was always there in the hall between classes to wish me a good morning or just a hello. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
