GALLIPOLIS — Corinne F. Wright, 88, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at Holzer Medical Center, on March 18, 2021. Corinne was born on Feb. 8, 1933, in Wayne, W.Va.; daughter of the late Leo Pauley and Emily Elsie Watts.
Corinne spent her career as a front desk receptionist for Holzer Medical Center. She attended Elizabeth Chapel Church and volunteered at the French Art Colony.
In addition to her parents, Corinne is preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Dawn Wright; brother Alfred Pauley; sisters Edith Grubbs, Almalean Rowley and Geraldine McKenzie.
Corinne is survived by daughters, Denise (Dirk) Titus of Greenwood, Indiana and Patrice (Rick) Johnson of Gallipolis, Ohio; son, Joseph (Michael) Zajkowski Wright of Greensboro, North Carolina; grandchildren, Megan (Bre-Ann) Broyles, Meredith (Dustin) Scruggs, Erick (Kylie) Johnson and Lindsey (Garrison) Salisbury; great grandchildren, Liam and Nolan Scruggs, Isabella Johnson and Garrin and Brooks Salisbury; sister, Phyllis Walker of Georgia; brother, Kenneth Watts of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Ruby Watts and Lori Fisher her niece.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Willis Funeral Home with Rick Johnson conducting. Interment will follow at Crown City Cemetery. Those in attendance are asked to follow CDC guidelines of social distancing and the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
