GALLIPOLIS — Daniel T. Casey, 71, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on June 1, 1946 in Franklin County, son of the late Raymond and Esther Reed Casey. Dan retired from the AEP Philip Sporn as an electrician. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren as well as Ohio State University Sports and Gallia Academy High School Sports. He was a graduate of Jackson High School and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
He was married to Rosie Davis Casey and she survives him along with one son Todd (Jennifer) Casey; two grandchildren Austin and Taylor Casey all of Hilliard, one sister Judy (Wade) Hill of Jackson, one brother James Casey of Jackson.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ellen McCorkle and one brother John Casey.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Ray Kane officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from noon until the time of the services.

May your friends and family be of comfort to you in this time of loss. What comforted me the most is the scriptures where the God of all comfort gives us peace. We all look forward to a time where we can see our loved ones again. My sincere condolences to you family.
