Henry Fillinger Obituary
CROWN CITY — Henry Ray Fillinger, 57, of Crown City, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at his residence.
He was born July 26, 1957, in Gallia County, son of the late Floyd R. Fillinger and Pauline McKinney Wilson, who survives him. Ray was married to Tina Fillinger, who preceded him in death on Dec. 23, 2009. He was a Hannan Trace High School graduate. Ray was in the U.S. Army and a former mechanic for Gallia County Local Schools.
Surviving are his daughters Lynmarie (Ernest) Sargent, of Point Pleasant, W.Va., and Kalyn Paige Preston, of Patriot; two grandchildren, William and Olivia Sargent, of Point Pleasant; his mother, Pauline Wilson, of Wellston; a sister, Peggy L. Heisel, of Centerville, Ohio; and a brother, Jerry L. (Tammy) Fillinger, of Point Pleasant.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Willis Funeral Home, with a military flag presentation at the conclusion of the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Ray's memory to Willis Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
