GALLIPOLIS — Steven Coulson, 55, of Gallipolis, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at his residence.
Born May 31, 1960, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Robert E. Coulson and Elva Jean Smith Coulson, who survives in Gallipolis. He was a graduate of University of Rio Grande School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for many years. He also served our country in the United States Army.
In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by a special friend Michelle Gonsalves, of Honolulu, Hawaii; a sister, Kathy (Key Wade) Coulson, of Covington, Ga.; uncles and aunts Paul and Patsy Coulson, of Columbus, Roger and Brenda Coulson, of Columbus, Marie Bishop, of Liberty Center, and Sheila and Gene Whaley, of Shade.
In addition to his father, Steve, was preceded in death by uncles Jim and Kenny Coulson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at Cremeens Funeral Chapel, Gallipolis. Pastor Jim Lusher will officiate. Interment, with full military honors provided by the Gallipolis Funeral Detail Team, will be in the Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.

Only recently found out of Steve´s passing..I had worked w him about 25 years ago, at The Shattuck Hospital in Boston, Mass..he was a great guy, & liked by everyone he had worked with..RIP
