When a Child goes to Heaven, God stands with open arms, to cradle and to comfort him, to keep him safe from harm....When a Child goes to Heaven, Precious Memories are left behind, of innocence, love and their sweet faces forever etched upon your mind. When a Child goes to Heaven, a part of you goes too, just know that you will join him once again, when your Journey here is through.

--May the love of Jesus Christ shine upon you and comfort you, granting you the strength and the peace to endure this day and forevermore. You are always close to my heart, Renee, you and Jack, Dalton, Gabriel and Austin.

Thank you for the Life of Austin Gabriel Haley, dear Lord, please provide this beloved family with the comfort they need to endure this day.

Guide them onward through the light of Austin as he shines upon their lives and those of his brothers, grant them peace, hope and love and keep their family in the palm of Your hand.

Renee, Jack, and Dalton,
Not a moment goes by that your family is not in our families thoughts. We are heartbroken over the loss of Austin. Noah cries for him daily and prays to him nightly. He is definately reassured with knowing that Austin is now in God's army. We speak of Austin constantly. I am amazed at the impact that Austin permanently left in my sons' heart, not to mention my own.

Thank all of you again for giving us so many encouraging words, poems, and pictures. I have printed each one of them....I will treasure them forever. If anyone has a way of placing his picture in front of a cross, somehow, I would love that. Each picture is very unique and dear to my heart. Also, I would love to know who the pictures are from, but I really can't tell how to find the names. Thank you to all of you, also, who have made donations to the Austin Haley Memorial Fund at Tinker Federal Credit Union. We don't have a way of specifically identifying the people....but THANK YOU SO MUCH! You all have been such a blessing in our lives....God bless all of you.

Children are a gift from God, created by His hand.
Each is wrapped uniquely, according to His plan.
He breathes in them the breath of life and numbers all their days,
Appoints to each a purpose, according to His ways.
He chooses very carefully to whom He sends each one,
And then He waits expectantly as each gift is undone.
One day God wrapped a special gift. Inside it He placed you.
He then delivered it to me and watched what I would do.
Instead of opening up my gift, I gave it back to Him
Choosing to give up the life that He had placed within.
I wish there was a way that He could send you back to me.
For now the treasure of your life my eyes would surely see.
The gift of you has changed my heart, more than words can say.
And now that I'm forgiven, I am longing for the day
When I can open up my gift and see you face to face,
And finally hold you in my arms in God's eternal place.

I sent my Son so that Austin could rest with me today and I have sent the Holy Spirit to walk with you and be with you day by day. Dear Mommy & Daddy, I am with Jesus

Kathy Spivey

August 9, 2007

Dear Jack, Renee, Dalton & Family

My name is Kathy Spivey and I live in Chickasha, OK.

I lost my only daughter, Leslie, at the age of 15, in 2000.

The life of your precious little man Austin has deeply touched my life as it has with many others, who have only gotten to know him during this time of his life.

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours. I think of all of you, often, and I am inspired by your faith and love.

It was during the time while reading an article on the internet regarding the circumstances of the passing of Austin, that I felt inspired to create the photos of Austin that I have placed in the Photo Album, here.

One of the articles made mention that the family would be forced to endure the tragic heartache of the dock and pond where Austin died, and I only thought... Oh no, that is the place where the Angels arrived to guide Austin home upon the command of Jesus.

It is a truly sacred place.

Upon the loss of a child, one comes to understand a lot of things, like, the most cherished memories are those that were created around the every day life of the child and family.

My heart understands the grief the pain and the anger, as well as it also understands that my daughter has realized the highest plateau of all success in Life, she is in Heaven.

The loss of her human touch is great and my body never ceases to want to touch her, to hold her, to see her.

My constant assurance is that she is free from the pain and trials of this Earth, free from all suffering and all strife.

There is not a moment during the bright shining day or the deepest darkness of the night that I do not know where she is.

I know where she is, she is with the Lord.

I miss being able to watch her grow up, but God, in all of His infinite wisdom allows me what my heart aches for, He always guides me to a scripture or allows me to view something entirely too beautiful or serene and I know, in an instant, that He has gifted me with a glimpse of her.

I have only to view the faces, the hands, or to hear the voices of my sons to be granted the opportunity to know that she lives on.

Austin's Life is a treasure and he not only was entrusted by God to you and yours, he now has been entrusted to all of us.

What we take of it is up to us, for it is granted freely to each and every one of us.

It has often been revealed to me that the circumstances that compelled the death of Austin coincides with the biblical references to the Garden of Eden, the snake, the sins of the adults and the pain the Mother shall bear with her child.

Austin represents the innocence, the sinless. The preference of Jesus Christ.

Unless we ALL become just as Austin and Leslie were in this Life, then we shall never be able to enter the gates of Heaven. The simplest of sin will interfere with our passage.

Your love for your child and the child that remains, as well as your faith and love of the Lord, will be what you need to carry you through these times.

God is not challenging you. He, simply, entrusted you with His child for a time and then he came to take him Home.

A child entrusted back into the arms of God, is the only sure success of a parent.

Austin is so happy and so free. There will never come a day that you must take up arms to protect your child. He is protected by the best Army in the world.

Your little man, who so amazed you by his thoughtfulness and his kindness, the level of wisdom that he exalted, you knew in Life that he was Special, and now you know why.

May you and your family always cherish each and every moment of your lives and may all of you continue to work hard in this Life so that you may, one day, again look upon the face of this beautiful Angel Child.

You are more than welcome to send me any photographs that you would like to have manipulated as those here are. I would be more than happy to do this for you. You may also request any type of manipulation for them. I will do my best to provide you with anything that you wish. There is no fee, of course. You may email me any photos or mail them to me.

My sweet Leslie was there to welcome Austin Home.

Renee, Jack and Dalton - your loss is in the hearts of so many people in Noble and we are truly amazed at your strength during this devastating time - you have been the ones providing peace & comfort to the community during this time & your love and admiration for Austin is apparant to all. My 6 year old son had started football with Austin last week and when I told him about the death of Austin - he asked what many of us are asking "why?" but then told me "its okay mom, he can play football in heaven - God & Jesus will play with him" - children see things in a way that adults often can't and you will continue to receive comfort from Austin in your memories. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and we must believe something positive will come from this tragedy. Our deepest condolences - Michael, Teresa, Colton & Payton

Strenghthen Us Lord
Strengthen us Lord, for the days ahead-
The loss of loved ones-our deepest dread.
Heartache and pain are sure to come
When those close depart for their heavenly home.
Though we know they go to a much better place,
Wesurvivethe hurtonly by your grace.
Help us rely on your tender care,
As you reach out in love, our grief to bear.
It's these difficult times you carry us through,
Teaching us to depend solely on you;
So strenghthen us, Lord, prepare our heart
To lean on youwhen loved ones depart.
"The Lord is my strenght and my shield;my heart trusted in him,and I am helped"
(Psalms. 28:7)
My prayers are with you.
