Bob Grubb Obituary

Our Loving Daddy, Bob Lyle Grubb, went to be with the Lord & the love of his life, Rosemary, his wife of 53 years. Bob was born October 12, 1931 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Leona (Sims) and Lyle Grubb. He passed away November 18, 2008 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years 1 month and 6 days. He married the love of his life Rosemary Allen in Oklahoma City, on April 5, 1951. Bob joined the Air Force and served 2 years in Phoenix, Arizona. He came back to Oklahoma where he began his career as an electronic engineer at FAA and retired after 30 years of service. Bob & Rosemary moved to Lake Eufaula where they both enjoyed the lake life and made lifetime friendships. Bob took great pride in his lifetime affiliation with the Masons. Bob was the type of person who would do anything for a friend. Family & friends meant a lot to him. He was preceded in death by parents, and his wife, Rosemary Grubb. Bob is survived by 1 son, Robert Grubb of Oklahoma City 2 daughters, Cindy Parrott & husband Bruce of Medford, Oregon, Vickie Ramos & husband Rodney of Oklahoma City his grandson that he adored, Ryan Parrott 1 sister, Barbara Seagrove 1 new great granddaughter, Emme Rose as well as a host of friends and other relatives. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at 2:00 pm, at Westlawn Cemetery, Henryetta, Oklahoma, officiated by Bro. Brian. Services are under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
