Carole Sue Kuchynka
1944 - 2018

WEATHERFORD, TX
Carole Sue (Stanfa) Kuchynka, 74, formerly of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 6, 2018. Born in Chicago, IL to John and Jennie Stanfa, she grew up in OKC and attended Bishop McGuinness High School. After retiring from OKDHS in 2011, she enjoyed painting, gardening and reading, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson. She was loving, generous, funny, kind, and beautiful, inside and out.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James C. Kuchynka.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughters and their spouses, Jennifer & Shawn Graham and Johnna & John Groom; and grandson, William. She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara; brothers, John and Matthew; nieces, a nephew, and many other extended family members and sweet friends.
A private Celebration of Life was held at the OKC Museum of Art.

I met Carole at work, OKDHS. Carole was a wonderful coworker and friend. I've thought a lot about her since I retired in 2012 and was just told today that she had passed away. Thoughts and prayers to her family.
