Corey Kaiser Obituary

Corey Edward Kaiser 1982 - 2003 On February 11, 1982 God gave us the privilege of being the parents of Corey Edward Kaiser. There is no greater joy one can attain. He blessed our lives every day of his twenty-one years. He achieved many things in his short life but he considered his friendships and the ability to make them laugh his greatest gift. He was a wonderful brother to his 'buddy' Chase and no better son a parent could ask for. Corey graduated from Putnam City North High School in 2001 where he played quarterback for the Panthers and was a member of several other organizations. Currently, Corey was attending Oklahoma State University and a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Corey died on November 1, 2003. He will be met in heaven by his precious sister Kelli Lou and many relatives he cherished. Corey is survived by parents Edward F. and Missy L. Kaiser; brother Matthew Chase Kaiser; grandparents Monta Lou Gifford and Walter N. Gifford, Edward F. and Margaret Kaiser, and Frances Gibby; great grandmother Edythe Helm Barbour; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to his sister's fund, the Kelli Kaiser Memorial Fund in care of Chestnut Mtn. Presbyterian Church, PO Box 7280, Chestnut Mtn., GA 30502. The fund was established in 1990 to assist needy children. You may also make donations to the Downs Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma - 3366 NW Expressway, Suite 330, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 in memory of our precious friend, Kylee McFarlane. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2003, at the Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. SMITH & KERNKE 14624 N. Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser,

I have gone to school with your son Corey from the time we were in sixth grade to now at OSU. I am deeply saddened and shocked by his passing, but I know and trust that The Lord will give you and your family the strength to not only make it through this difficult time, but also bless you on the other side of it. I will be praying daily that God grants you strength and peace, and I will always remember Corey for the great guy that he was.

Dear Ed & Missy,

We were so shocked and saddened by the news of Corey's death. I remember him as a model young man, even in the third grade at CMES. Corey was Shelly's first 'crush' in kindergarten in Ms Hunt's class. We will pray for you as you face yet another challenge that God has presented in your lives.

Mr. & Mrs. Kaiser,

I had the pleasure of being Corey's P.E. teacher when he was in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at Chestnut Mountain. I have taught many, many students over the years and, unfortunately, can't remember all of them. Corey, however, was different. I have never forgotten what a fine young man he was, even at such an early age. He left an impression on me through his kindness, wonderful attitude, and athletic skills. He was the kind of student that EVERY teacher enjoyed having. I will always remember Corey's sweet smile, and the way he made us laugh! I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Please know that you all are in my prayers. God bless.
