May 6, 1934 - May 4, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY C. Wayne Falkenstein was born May 6, 1934 to Charles and Glea Falkenstein in Hennessey, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army in Grafenwoehr, Germany and received his Jurist Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma. Wayne was a Mason and a Shriner. His legal career included County Attorney of Kingfisher County; County Judge of Kingfisher County; oil and gas title work for his company, Energy Title Corporation; Special Municipal Judge of The City of Oklahoma City; and U.S. Administrative Law Judge. Wayne's favorite area of Law was oil and gas title and he continued to assist family and friends with their oil and gas title needs until the end of his life. Wayne passed away on May 4, 2015 at his home in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Paula, sons, Chuck Falkenstein and Sam Johnson, Chuck's wife Cindy Falkenstein, and granddaughter Jennifer Falkenstein. Wayne was very proud of his military service and went out of his way to tell every person he met in uniform "I wore a uniform many years ago. Thank you for your service." After his retirement from the federal bench, Wayne used his law degree and Social Security Disability experience to help Veterans and others with disabilities. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 2717 W. Hefner Rd., Oklahoma City, on May 9th at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Springs, KY 41076 or Central Oklahoma Humane Society, 7500 N. Dear Paula,
With a heavy heart I write this message.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Wayne has been apart of my (Dawson)family since I was 8 years old. One of my fondest memories is of Wayne and his fellow Shriner's coming to the 89ers Day parade in Guthrie Ok. Afterwards we would all meet at our home and have a great time.
What a stellar person he was! A plethora of information and advice.
He will be sorely missed.
Peace be with you and the family.

I am so sorry to learn of Wayne's death. He was a wonderful person and a respected colleague. I had the privelege of helping mentor him through the application process and I knew he'd be a fine Judge. He will be missed by all. Judge Richard Kallsnick, Tulsa ODAR.

Wayne was a true gentleman and it was an honor to know him and work with him. When he decided to be of counsel with RGG Law, it was a great compliment given his distinguished career and his reputation for integrity. Even though others knew him longer, my partners and I count our blessings to have been associated with him in any way. We will sincerely miss him.
