Becky, I pray that God's peace and love is with you at this time of such great sorrow.

During my 26 years at the police department I had many supervisors but only one that I could truly call a friend. That friend was David. After David's retirement, though time and physical distance made our personal contact limited, David was frequently on my mind. I cherish the memories, especially the time spent sailing with David whether on the St. Johns river, the Atlantic Ocean, or lake Thunderbird in Norman.

David was truly a caring, loving and special person. I will miss him deeply.
