I just found out that David had passed and I am still in disbelief. What a great guy with a fantastic personality. I didn't know him very well - but, I saw him on construction sites quite often and he always yelled at me if he saw me and we would talk a little bit. He was always upbeat and had a great personality. He was one of the good guys!

I havent known Dave long but he has been doing alot of work at my office installing cabinets and he was a delight to be around. I never seen him that he did not have a smile on his face. He will be missed.

Our condolences to Vicki, Amanda, Emily and Don and all of David's family. David was a skilled, creative and talented member of Oklahoma City's theatrical community who will be greatly missed.
David and I worked together for over forty years in theater in OKC and he was probably my oldest friend in Oklahoma City. He helped me in so many ways, both professionally and personally. He was always willing to lend a hand on any project that I had going whether it was installing windows as I worked on my house, or helping drive one of the trucks on a ballet run-out.
David served as lighting designer for Lyric Theatre for many years. He made numerous trips to pick up equipment and sets for both Ballet Oklahoma and Lyric Theater. He was Ballet Oklahoma's first stage manager and worked over thirty-five years in that position. David also worked with sound and set up the first wireless system for Lyric. While at Oklahoma City University, he designed both sets and lighting for many of the university's productions.
David always had a positive attitude and never missed a call. Not only that, he was always on time for every call. Danelle and I will miss him forever.
