July 16, 1947 - Jan. 29, 2016 OKLAHOMA CITY David P. Zacker, 68, of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully at home on the evening of Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, with family in attendance. Mr. Zacker was an oil and gas landman and title attorney, who loved his work. He would gladly share the history of the city and the oil patch with any receptive listener. He had a deep love for nature, history, cards, family and friends. He was a generous man, who was quick with a joke and smile. He was an endless source of trivia and general know-how, endeared to and adored by many. Mr. Zacker graduated Bishop McGuinness Class of 1965 before earning multiple degrees, including a Juris Doctor from OCU. He spent six years in the Army Reserve. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Zacker and Juanita Y. Zacker (Embree). Survived by his daughter, Jennifer Zacker (Chris), of Golden, CO; and brothers, Mike Zacker (Shirley), of Oklahoma City; and Philip K. Zacker (Jan), of Edmond, OK; sister, Sally K. Gold (Bill), of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church, Oklahoma City.
