Debra Dunlap Obituary

Debra Grace died at her Edmond home October 25, 2004. She had suffered from a lengthy illness. Born in Oklahoma City December 29, 1950, she was the daughter of Daniel and Dorothy Lester Dunlap. Her father predeceased her. Surviving are her mother Dorothy, Edmond; sister Diane Milla, Lakeland, Florida; three brothers Douglas, DeSoto, TX, Daniel, Jr. and Stephen, Edmond, also seven nieces and one nephew. Debra moved to Edmond in 1963 then with her family, moved to Rome, Italy where she attended the Overseas School of Rome, graduating in 1969. Returning to the States, she entered Central State University graduated with a B.A., then later earned a second B.A. at Oklahoma Christian University. Debra was a very talented artist, a kind and compassionate person with deep convictions of a strong faith. She loved 'her Jesus' so we know that she is at peace with him now. The family will celebrate her life Friday at a 10:00 a.m. Graveside service conducted by Rev. Mark Foster, Acts 2 USM. Matthews Funeral Home Locally Owned 601 S. Kelly, Edmond 341-2787

Dear little sister,

I miss you so much but I know that Jesus finally came to take you home. You always said that Jesus is coming soon and you were right.

Rest in peace and we will all see you again soon.
