Bowlware Eggleston Jan 28, 1925 - Aug 8, 2013 SPAULDING Della Colleen Bowlware Eggleston passed away on Aug. 8, 2013, at the age of 88 years 6 months and 11 days. She was born in Spaulding, Oklahoma, Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1925, to Joe Herbert Moore and Della Florence (Neal) Moore. On Aug. 31, 1945, she married Scott Bowlware in Oklahoma City, and they were married for 43 years until his death in 1988. Together, they had two sons: Wayne Scott Bowlware, Edmond; and the late Aaron Dale Bowlware. Surviving are her grandchildren and spouses: Daniel and Angela Bowlware, of Yukon; and Drs. Kenneth and Karen Bowlware, of Oklahoma City; and great-grandchildren are Brooks, Jake, Jessica, McKenna and Payton Bowlware. Also surviving are her two sisters: Orcella Love, of Spaulding; and Norma Hensley, of Mansfield, TX. Mabel Border preceded her in death. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. On April 24, 1993, Colleen married William Hurshell Eggleston and moved back to the Spaulding community. Colleen was a homemaker for many years in the Moore area, and she worshipped at the Central Church of Christ in Moore. Colleen was a faithful servant to her Lord and a strong member of the church. Colleen enjoyed singing and had a special fondness for gospel songs. She also worked as a secretary at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013, at John Ireland Funeral Home in Moore, Oklahoma, with Minister Tommy Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Moore, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Love, Clinton Love, Kenneth Decker, Ronnie Walters, Tyler Decker and Dr. Kenneth Bowlware. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
