DONALD STAMMAN

Sept 2, 1944 - Nov 28, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Donald Louis Stamman passed away Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 2013. Don was born Sept. 2, 1944, in Muskogee, OK to Alvin (Tex) and Elizabeth Ann Stamman. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda. He lived in Oklahoma City since 1955 and graduated from Putnam City High School. Don managed several automotive repair and tire stores prior to his retirement. He leaves two loving daughters: Angela Stamman Mead & husband Aaron, of Pasadena, CA; and Stephani Stamman Roper & husband Jack, of Oklahoma City. He had five cherished grandchildren, Isabella and Olivia Mead, and Aden, Ava and Sophia Roper. He was the brother of Cheryl Hudak and friend of his former wife, Joan Stamman. A celebration of Don's life will be held Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. at NewChurch, 9201 N. Rockwell Ave., Oklahoma City, with a reception to follow. His family asks for Don's many friends to rejoice that he lived, rather than mourn his death. He was a wonderful and fearless man who has gone to a great reward in Heaven.
