He graduated from Putnam City High School and took courses at the University of Oklahoma. Eddie worked for Black and Decker from age 20 until retirement. He began as a tool repairman and was soon promoted to branch manager. In 1969 Eddie found his calling with a promotion to sales where he traveled Oklahoma as an industrial tool salesman and won many awards for top Salesman of the Year.
His friendly nature and easy humor also won him many friends. Lifelong friends speak volumes to the person you are, and Eddie had many. They met as early as grade school and continued their friendships to this day. He is survived by friends Bob Fowler, Earl Putnam, Earl Lynn, Jon Powell, and Richard Blackwell. He is preceded in death by Lloyd Henderson. They played ball in high school and chased girls in college. Their friend-ships passed through many life changes, but always stayed strong. The family cabin on Lake Tenkiller was Eddie's second home. Beginning in his 20's he took his friends and family to the cabin. Spending endless days on the lake, catching hundreds of fish and pulling skiers for miles. He loved teaching his kids and grandkids to ski and would patiently pull them around the lake for hours. He was an avid golfer, loved watching the Thunder, and enjoyed playing the stock market. His favorite activity over the past years was playing the slot machines at the casino. He never stopped believing he would win it big!
Eddie loved to make people laugh and was always up for an adventure. He traveled to tropical locations when-ever he could and especially enjoyed visiting Maui in the winter for the last 4 years
He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine, and his parents Jimmy and Beulah Luster. He is survived by his children, Paul Luster, Gina Regan, Mindy Luster, and their mother, Georgiana Stewart.
