Eileen Starita Obituary

Eileen Paulette Starita, 67, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 in her home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2002, at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Ratterman officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 8, 2002, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Millbrook, New York with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bangall, New York. Local arrangements are with Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mrs. Starita was born May 1, 1934 in Bronx, New York, to Paul Angelo and Rosalie Ursula Arbucho. She graduated from the Academy of The Sacred Heart of Mary in Park Terrace, Manhattan, New York. Eileen came to Norman in 1994 from Houston, Texas. Eileen was a sales clerk for Dillards Department Store. She was a member of the St. Thomas More University parish in Norman. Mrs. Starita was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one son, Major Paul Lawrence Starita (U.S. Marine Corps) and wife, Mary, of Oceanside, California; two daughters, Claudine Frances Starita of Norman, Oklahoma, and Monica Ursula Erickson & husband, Christopher, of Savage, Minnesota; one sister, Rosalie Ursula Jimenez and husband, Joseph, of Brooklyn, New York; and two grandchildren, Malia Ann Starita and Elijah Mark Erickson. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Anthony School, 2718 Custer Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 in her memory.
